How to setup multiple finished goods from one raw material item?

Dear Experts,

I'm checking if there is any way to setup the system so that from one raw material (for example a pig) we can generate multiple finished products (For example ham, bacon, ribs, etc).
1. How to setup the product and item to achieve that goal?
2. How to setup the production order to achieve that goal?

Any suggestion will be appreciated!

    Hi,
I'm afraid there is no such standard feature. You can customize development to meet your needs. If you don't have a developer, you can enlist the help of a Microsoft partner who will provide you with customized services. You can refer to this official website: Find the right app | Microsoft AppSource. You can also go to Microsoft Ideas and vote for it, and the suggestion with the most votes will be considered by Microsoft to develop it as a standard feature: Ideas (dynamics.com).
    Best regards,
    Kevin

    Hi,

This is basically the scenario that the Process manufacturing functionality was designed for. You'll be using Formulas, planning items (probably) and your production orders will have multiple Co- and By- product outputs.

@Kevin Xia - your 'there is no standard feature' answer could not be more wrong.
