We have implemented a GSTR-1 report in Dynamics 365 Business Central. The report contains multiple sheets by transaction type, and its format complies with Government requirements.
The report is working successfully for most projects where the number of Posted Sales Invoice transactions is relatively limited. However, we are facing a performance issue in one project where the monthly transaction volume is significantly higher.
Due to the large amount of data, the report generation process takes a considerable amount of time and eventually gets cancelled automatically before completion. As a result, the report is not generated.
We would like your guidance on the following points:
Any recommendations for improving report performance and handling high transaction volumes would be greatly appreciated.
