General ledger parameters do now show Sales Tax menu

I am a licensed user and have reinstalled the Ax Dynamics 2012 on my machine. I have just created a new company on the Dynamics and started basic set-up. First thing I need to do is to set-up the Tax registration number. When I go to the General ledger parameters set-up, I can not see the Sales tax menu. In the set-up guide it is stated that when you select the General ledger parameters menu under setup you get the sales tax setup menu which needs to setup, but I do not know the reason why the same is not appearing on my screen.

Can somebody please help me identify the issue so that I can proceed with the setup.

    Hi,

    Please check if all configuration keys are enabled. Possibly all are missing. I have seen this behavior in the past. I don't know te cause.

    You can find the configuration in the system administration, setup menu.

    Hi Kalpesh,

    Please check whether Sales Tax has been enabled under licensing. Go to: System admin > Setup > Licensing> License configuration > General Ledger > Sales tax. Ensure that the sales tax is enabled there.

    Glad you solved it with our answers. I wonder if only this or all sub configurations were inactive. I have seen this three times, but could not find the cause.

    Can you verify the answer(s) that helped you? Then the thread will get the status answered and other users with the same problem can see which answer is provided.

    Kartik's answer was exactly what I followed:

    Please check whether Sales Tax has been enabled under licensing. Go to: System admin > Setup > Licensing> License configuration > General Ledger > Sales tax. Ensure that the sales tax is enabled there.

    In fact I meant the same, but Kalpesh elaborated a bit more. So you may verify Kalppesh' answer.

    But I also wonder if the Sales Tax was the only disabled configuration, or were all configurations disabled?
