Duplicate recipient address

I have a user who built a customer journey with an audience that has no duplicates (in the CSV file), but the journey shows that 1006 of those contacts were Duplicate recipient addresses. Does anyone know what that means? And how to fix?

    I believe the user had the email address in the wrong field when setting up the customer journey. Thanks for your response.

    Hi,
     
    According to the image you provided,1006 contacts out of 1123 blocked contacts show duplicate email addresses.
    What is the status of the other 117 contacts and do any of them have duplicate emails with the 1006 contacts?
     
    According to the official documentation.
