How do I add Export to Excel programmatically to a form

I created a custom form using pattern Dialog-Tabs.

Microsoft didn't add the Office integration button to this pattern.

I want only the Export to Excel part on click of a button on the grid action pane, that is if I cannot programmatically add the office integration button.

I found https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/dev-itpro/office-integration/office-integration-edit-excel but it calls Open in Excel instead of Export to Excel.

I used the Dialog-Tabs pattern because I want my form to have a similar look and feel as CustOpenTrans form.

Any help on how to add the Export to Excel is much appreciated.

Hi,

I'm not sure if i saw the export to excel button in standard forms similar to this pattern. So i would say maybe you can't.

You create an entity for this new table and export data via DMF as a workaround or you can do customizations to export data to excel via x++

That command button did exactly what I was looking for. It even exported only what I had in the grid and not all customer rebates.
