WF Email notification in ax 7 (D365)

Hi Guys,

I have created customized workflow in  D365 , workflow working fine but i have to setup email configuration.

I had done all necessary setup in ax7, UI but is it necessary to setup smtp .

I havent dont anything on smtp side. yes smtp is needed then how to start and configure smtp in ax7

    SMTP setup can be found under System administration > Setup > Email > Email parameters.
