Hazard Pay

In projects, would Hazard Pay to an employee be set up as a Timesheet Entry or Employee Expense in Projects?  Or does this need to be entered through the payroll module in Dynamics GP?  This is taxable income to the employee.  I need the best process do do this.

    Hi,

    How is Hazard Pay different than any other pay code? Seems to me that you would just enter it in Timesheet and send it to payroll.

    It is not a Hourly rate, but I think that the Project setup needs to be adjusted to pull the pay code from the Cost Category and not the Employee.  I had also received an error when entering into the timesheet entry screen "The Unit of Measure Hour is not part of the schedule, the system will reset to the Base U of M."  I guess that Hour has to be added to the PA Unit of Measure Schedule Setup.  The Hazard pay is a daily rate and not tied to hours, so we had a unit of measure "MAN" for the man-day.
