Connect Journal Number to the journal detail in LedgerJournalEntityStaging

Hi all

Building a data model - I want to drill down from ledger information held in GeneralJournalAccountEntryStaging down to the detail held in LedgerJournalEntityStaging but I cannot see Journal Number in LedgerJournalEntityStaging which I would expect to be the common key. Is it missing for me or is there another way to relate the two data entities?

Hi James,

I think JournalNum relation won't work here.

In "GeneralJournalAccountEntryEntity" DataSource - You have "GeneralJournalEntry" table - This table is related with LedgerEntryJournal which will be having journal num.

Below is the screenshot of "GeneralJournalEntry" table relations.

Now the LedgerEntryJournal table will have journal number. You can build based on that/

Forgot to add the LegerEntryJournal table relations. Please refer to the below screenshot. It's added under Table extension node.
