Hi,

I have customization and power apps solution and want to merge together. My problem is I didn't work before with XML of the entity.

I must keep custom fields on the XML but delete all other as are fields to prevent any issue overwrite to their form by import within the client environment.

my question is what I must keep on the XML file and what I must delete. Any advice or sample will be a great help.

Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

First you need to keep in mind this is going to be very risky and I don't think you will get this information somewhere but what you can do it compare your xml files with some file compare tool and see which of the contents are similar to see out of the box stuff and then you can edit xml file and can add field definition there  accordingly.

Make sure to keep backup of every solution and try this in sandbox/trial

    Thanks, Mahender,

The problem is what I must keep on the XML file because it is nearly 10.000 rows. I don't want to make any mistakes. Is there any other ways to realize it?

    Hi Necdet,

There is pre defined step which you can refer, so you need to try it yourself but you can utilize schema for the different component

    docs.microsoft.com/.../customization-xml-reference

and check here how to import schema in VS

    docs.microsoft.com/.../edit-customizations-xml-file-schema-validation

Which should at least help you to validate your changes.
