Unretrieved Values in Grid

Hi,

I add new field to InventTable, then compile and synronise the table. In the SalesQuickQuote form, I add new field to grid. But the new field always looks "Unretrieved". I tried clear cache, restarting AOS service, even restarting the AOS server, same issue still continues. How can I fix it?

    Hi Hasan,

    Did you synchronise the database? Maybe try to remove the AUC files of your client. Do you have a AOS cluster?

    Yeah try by deleting AUC file and also check whats the value there in DB, it should be blank instead of NULL.

    You should investigate the code behind the form - all these forms that display InventSum use custom queries with grouping by various fields, which means you need to add your field (assuming it makes sense to group by them) to the grouping list.

    I too have stumble upon this problem in recent project.

    Try right click the form (which the related grid is in) then compile.

    Then restarting the AOS seems to work.

    Im not sure why but it might take a few try though.

    Hi.

    I had similar issue.

    Some data on form were unretrieved regardeless they were added by personalization or by form modification however these fields were nativly present.

    Sometimes form datasorces have modification of the query in datasource executeQuery method.

    Such modification can call external method which is kept in class doing some tasks for Form.

    In my case it was call of PdsInventDimCtrlFormBestBefore.modifyQueryWithBatch(inventSum_DS,inventDim_DS,inventBatch_ds);

    When you look at such method you will see someting like this:

    ...

       this.modifyQuery(_inventSum_DS, _inventDim_DS);

       qbsBatch = query.dataSourceName(_inventBatch_DS.name());

       qbsBatch.addGroupByField(fieldNum(InventBatch, ItemId));

       qbsBatch.addGroupByField(fieldNum(InventBatch, InventBatchId));

       qbsBatch.addGroupByField(fieldNum(InventBatch, ProdDate));

    ...

    If you would like to add another fields to be possible to put on grid, you have to add them in such method.
