Auto Approve Workflow if "Report to position" and "Project Manager" are same

Posted on by 10

Hello Folks,

We have a situation where Timesheet workflow flows 1st to "Report to" position and then to "Project Manager" but sometimes both are same.

Is there any condition where if both approvers ("Report to" and "PM") are same then it should end the workflow after "Report to" approval?

Thank you,

Surinder.

    Hi Surinder,

How often does that happen that the project manager is also the person an employee reports to?

If this is often the case, then go for the adjustment that Andre mentioned; otherwise it might be acceptable that one person clicks twice through the approval workflow and I would personally save the time and the money for the adjustment.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Surinder,

Like in the link shared by Andre Ghazaleh, this would require a customization. Out of the box, there is no configuration for this supported.
