Shop Floor StartAssistance Correction AX2009

I need to add a shop floor registration entry for a missed Assistance task.  In the calculation view, I am able to add a StartAssistance record, but the fields I need to enter data in, job pilot for example, are greyed out.  What is the correct way to make this correction?
