RE: How do I get our 3D drawings into Hololens 2?
HoloLens 2 embedded 3D Viewer can show FBX, OBJ or GLB files. So it should be pretty easy to convert Solidworks to one of this format.
Try to keep the file small (low polygon count) and optimized UV Map to have a smooth and efficient rendering in HoloLens 2.
As mentioned, using USB you copy the files to the 3D Objects folder of your HoloLens.
Using 3D Viewer, you will place manually each mesh where you want like a displayed showcase.
(So no need for Guides there unless you want a sequence fo scene displayed step by step.)
Regarding sharing the view:
Remote Assist is one solution and requires a Remote Assist license. You remote viewers will use the free Teams client or web version.
HoloLens also includes a screen sharing feature (screen icon on the bottom right of the main menu). It is similar to Cast or AirPlay on most phones. This will share your live view to any Miracast device around you like TV screen or a computer. Some computers can act as a Miracast receiver by default or you may want to install AirServer app.
When you finally get the HoloLens view on your computer, you can now start any web conference service (Teams/Meet/Zoom/WebEx) to share you screen to remote participants.
Hope this helps
