Microsoft Great Plains screen looks very dull, before a Malware Scan...

...and removal of bad Windows updates it looked normal. Please take a look at the screen shot, on the left is a sharp picture of the desktop which my colleague mentions that is what GP looked before I ran the scan and removal of the updates, and after GP looks the way it does in the right side of the screen shot. How can I get the GP interface to look sharp the way it does on the right side?

GP Version is 10.0 on a Windows 7 64 Bit System.

With the exception of FRx, everything looks as it should. Fonts, Pics... icons etc.

    http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/68760-display-settings-enable-disable.html

I FOUND PLENTY of these looking for hints on changing the font size. I am not aware of any FRx specific settings that control the fonts sizes here. There are plenty for the font sizes  in the report but not in the design panel.

I only support. I didn't set up FRx or GP on the PC. My colleague was mentioning to me that his PC would freeze often. So I removed the updates and ran a Malwarebytes scan. I looked at all of the MWB files that were scanned and none of them looked like they were related to the programs.

I am not sure how to add shading or remove it. I can ask him about the font size tomorrow morning.

Are there any guides I can use to be able to customize the above mentioned settings?

    Thank you

I assume the shading you have added? You have the font size set very large. Aside from that the FRx screen looks rather normal. Not as crisp as it normally looks but acceptable. If you kick your font size down how does FRx look. You may also have a disability setting turned for the visually impaired. I would turn that off to see how it looks.

I don't know. I have only touched FRx once or twice several years back. Hopefully someone with more experience can chime in.

Is that the way it's supposed to look?

Thank you. I do the IT support. You can show me a picture of a litter of puppies and I'd think it was Great Plains. Kidding, but thanks. There is a lot more to this than I had thought. Just as long as I can provide good support and my end users are happy I am a happy guy!

    I will get back tomorrow.

That is FRx not GP.  I don't believe the two applications have anything to do with each other except for relying on the same underlying SQL Data.

I would take a look at the display settings for FRx in the compatibility options.

I am having a very hard time uploading the screen shot. But I can try to describe it for now. The desktop has very sharp colors and it looks very easy to work with. GP has a faded background that looked sharp before the scans and removal of the updates.
