I have following issue, could you please help with a hint?
The currency of German LE is EUR, the currency of US LE is USD. An employee wants to submit an intercompany travel expense report from Germany LE to US LE in MXN and gets an error:
An exchange rate cannot be found for exchange rate type xx between currencies MXN and USD on exchange date 17.07.2019.
The interesting thing is, that the error pops up only when submitting some expense categories, but not all.
In the setup we have currency exchange rates between EUR and other currencies, but not for USD/MXN.
If I use workaround and set up an exchange rate for USD/MXN, I won't get an error.
But I don't understand why the error occurs only with some expense categories? And, if an employee submits intercompany expese reports in any other currencies than EUR and USD, do we always have to use such a workaround with setting up an additional exchange rate?
