GP Source Code, where to acquire?

Posted on by 60

Hi All, I've been trying to get this info through the partner channel directly, but M$ isn't making it super easy to figure out where to get started. I work for an ISV and we're having issues with our integration that having access to GP source would most certainly help. Is there still a "source code" partner level? I can't seem to find any recent info that relates to this idea. Thank you all, any direction you can point me in would be appreciated.                                FaceTime

There is a 'Source Code Program for Microsoft Dynamics GP' which you can find information here: businesscenter.mbs.microsoft.com/ This page mentions the following:

“With Microsoft Dynamics GP, starting on version 9.0, Microsoft introduced a source code program for Certified Partners and ISVs.

The Source Code Program will provide Source Code access to source code for the core modules, Field Service, Financials, US Payroll, CAN Payroll, Human Resources, Fixed Assets, Smartlist, DynUtils, Revenue Expense Deferrals, Manufacturing, GP SQL Stored Procedures and Project Accounting (excluding Professional Services Automation applications), as well as tax updates and service packs (collectively the “Source Code”).

This Source Code Program is not available for customers and it supersedes and replaces the source code program previously made available by Microsoft for the Great Plains products known as Great Plains Source Developer Program (“Developer Source Program”).

Please email gpsource@microsoft.com with any questions you may have on the program.”

It also has links to a 'Source Code Application', 'Source Code Program FAQs', '2010 Source Code Program License Agreement' and 'Source Code Program' document and PDF files.

As it mentions, you can email any questions to gpsource@microsoft.com, as they would be more able to answer these type of questions than we are able here on the Dynamics GP technical support team.

    Thanks

To my knowledge, there is no source code available for GP. There is an SDK included in the install media download. Are looking to develop using Dexterity? You can open support cases with MS to discuss specific questions.
