Hi all,
I have an issue when performing journal posting with cross currency.
Currently I have 2 currency in my company. USD as accounting currency and IDR as reporting currency.
When I try to post journal using cross currency with two lines which are:
Bank IDR (Dr) 15.000.000.000
Bank USD (Cr) 1.500.000
This transaction to buy IDR and sell USD I use manual rate (1:10.000) while in the exchange rate system is 1:12.000.
The error message appeared explaining that accounting currency has been ok while for reporting currency there is difference for 3.000.000.000 (difference between manual and system rate).
My questions are:
1. Why in the reporting currency exchange rate is not updated with the manual rate?
2. How to adjust the exchange on the reporting currency rate so the journal can be posted?
