Autopopulate recently updated record

I made a canvas app which updates a record in contact entity. How can I autopopulate the updated contact in field service workorder entity contact lookup field ?

    If you only updated the existing contact that was already associated with your work order, a simple refresh on the work order should be enough. Or do I misunderstand your question?
