How to export Last carry-forward amount

Posted on by 113

Hi all,

I'm currently working on exporting leave balances and transactions from D365HR to D365F&O. I've managed to get everything across correctly using the entities leave and absence bank transaction v2 and Leave Enrolment V2.

The last piece of the puzzle for me is to migrate the calculate carry-forward amounts, see example below, the worker has 31.5 hours carried forward from the previous leave period.

I know I can manually adjust the 31.5 hours on in F&O where I've migrated the data, however, I don't want to do that for 1000+ workers. Is this value held in any entity anywhere in D365HR? There doesn't seem to be a transaction for 31.5 hours carry-forward in leave and absence bank transaction v2 which I would have expected to see on 1st April 2022

    Hi Michael,

This field is calculated in the temporary table and populated in the form.

If you have developer, then you can ask to check the below information in the D365 F&O.

    Table: LeaveTmpForecastedBalance

    Method: lastCarryForwardAmount

Also, there is a view: LeaveBankBalanceView which can be useful for you.
