Approval issue in AX 2012 workflow

i have made a PO workflow and submitted it for approval successfully. But it is not received on the other side for approval to the assigned user. Even the Approval Action Button is not available for the  assigned person. Kindly help me out for this, why my workflow is not going thorough the approval step after submission.

    Muska, To resolve this issue you can doubled check the name of assigned user in workflow first, and then you can check in workflow history to check the approver, if there is no name in "work item" in workflow histor, then you can run it manually (open Aot>forms>tutorial_workflow) after run it manually it will receive to approver to whom you assigned at the time of workflow configuration.

    now i have another query, whenever i submit PO, i have to run that workflow from AOT manually, will it remain the same ? every time i have to run it manually, otherwise it will not go ahead for approval?

    Hi Muska,

    If workflow configure correctly then you don't need to go to AOT everytime to run it manually.

    Please check the condition for approval and also make sure the approver has require access to approve.

    Muska, No, you need not run to manually every time, to resolve this you can check your batch job, if it is working fine.

    i have resolved it. workflow is working now, you were right batch job was not working properly because the server was not assigned to the batch. I resolved it by Updating batch server id from SQL.
