Trusted .cer certificates in tier 2 cloud environments

Hello everyone,
I am a d365fo developer. I need to sign xml files using an external crypto library in .dll format. However, this library requires that I have a .сer certificate installed in the trusted root certifications authorities folder.
On my virtual devbox, there are no problems with this. But I don't understand how to do this in tier 2 cloud environments.

Is it possible to install this certificate on my cloud production?

    I think you need to add these files to AOT ressources and than you can use them through the x++ code.
     
    There are also other solutions, such as adding files to SharePoint or OneDrive ... and you can use them through the x++ code.

    Tier 1 cloud environment is easy - it's basically the same case as if you have the virtual machine hosted locally. But it's all useless if you can't use such a solution in production, which is the case, I'm afraid.
