Building a dynamic segment based on members of a marketing list

Hi

I believe that with 2019 release wave 2 that I should be able to build a dynamic query for all contacts in a specific marketing list.

So if I run a query for any contact in a marketing list I get results:

As soon as I add any filter in the marketing list like

I know there are 1036 members in my marketing list:

Is there a bug here? Can anyone else do this in the latest release?

    Hi @Carrie_Davis,

    Have you seen this table? It shows what lists you can and can't use in a segment. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-gb/dynamics365/marketing/segments-vs-lists

    If your list is static, you can include it in a segment. If it's dynamic, you can't.

    Hello Carrie,

    from your second screenshot I cannot identify the result of members you receive. If your marketing lists is a static lists, then those members of the static lists should be identified by your segment.

    Dynamics marketing list cannot be queried through segmentation.
