Scheduling with pool requirement

  • Given: a pool of all the same equipments, 70 in total
  • Given: an entity to be scheduled, with the requirement of having 20 resources (equipments) out of the pool. No specific, all equipments are the same
  • Solution needed: easy way to enter the number of resourceses out of pool xy needed an easily book this number/resources automatically or at least with not clicking all of them manually

    Assuming you want to use the Schedule Board to find the availability of 20 resources on a specific timeframe.

    The Resource Requirement Group will give you the ability to book all 20 resources at the same time and keep them connected in case of rescheduling.

    You might not want to create one template/incident type for each of the possibilities e.g. 1 equipment, 2 equipment, etc. So you may need a Flow to build the resource requirement group from the field number of equipment you have on the work order.
