PowerBI: how to tell if sales invoice has been paid

I have a PowerBI view of SalesInvoiceHeaders and joined to the corresponding SalesInvoiceLinesV2 entity. What’s the best method of working out which invoices have been paid?

Hi Ian Waring,

I don't see anyway you could see the payment status using these entities. You will need to customize the entity to determine the payment status.

Correct. The question is really what other entities contain a payment status I can join to what I have. Any ideas welcome.

Hi Ian,

The payment status of the invoice can be obtained from customer transactions only. I don't see any OOB entity which can give you that information.

You will need to create a custom entity to get that information or you can modify the sales invoice header entity to have a field that identifies if the invoice is paid.
