    RE: Sales report

    Hi Mukesh Bisht,

It is supposed you may need to track the item issue/receipt flow with one report. With standard behavior, we may miss the source order after the items are moved to on-hand inventory.

To meet your requirements, from my understanding, you may need to design your business, have your items tracked by batch/serial number, then build your report from inventory transactions based batch/serial number. But, if the business would be designed in this approach, I doubt the volume of inventory dimensions may increase quickly depending on transaction volume.

Please help to consider if it would meet your requirements and adjust accordingly.

    Best Regards,

    Austin Shen

    RE: Sales report

I want the report to be in latter format showing the flow of one item from purchase to sales in a single line, Is there any relation that would help me find the item that is purchased and sold , Invent trans contains all the data for the item purchased and sold but wat is the logic id have to write to fetch the desired result. Just kind of confused

    RE: Sales report

    Hello Mukesh Bisht,

Shall this new report show the transactions in a single line or in separate sections?

In other words, do you need to create a report that simply combines a purchase and a sales related report with two sections where you show e.g. the purchases on top and the sales at the bottom or do you need to show the 'flow' of one item from purchase to sales in a single line that illustrates the origin (purchase) and the sales?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
