how to add parts of a customer asset to work order automatically

Hello

We are trying to bring over the parts of a product into a work order so once when the installation is done all the components are created as a asset along with parts (sub assets) . currently we keep it as a product bundle to maintain the structure. this is a common industry case i believe and i coudlnt get a way to configure this. any advice is appreciated.

We have heard the request before, and you are correct, out of the box the product can be converted into an asset, but any sub products as part of a product bundle are not converted. I have seen partners do creating things for this scenario. Definitely check out the field service ideas portal to upvote or log this suggestion! experience.dynamics.com/.../
