Quote displaying wrong quote product form when adding a product

We created a custom quote product form that allows us to customize products (so all products are write in products), but when we click on "Add Product" from the quote form it takes us to a new form (UCI). I have no idea where that quote product form is, as it's not displaying in the quote product forms. But when I add the product using the form provide (Not mine) and I try to edit the product my form (the correct one) shows up.

How do I disable the new form and have the quote product form load my form. I even disabled all quote product forms in the app and it still shows up?

What is crazy, is PROD works and UAT works. But dev does not work. (I took over from someone who did this). I created this as a sub-grid in the 8.2 a few years ago then left and another configurator upgraded them to the Unified Interface. Now I'm back and dev is broken, but uat and prod aren't. So no custom button exists. I'm looking closer at uat to see if there is something I missed. I'm also doing this in the legacy configuration as I think it may be linked to the new one.

Here is another approach, you can add a new button for sub-grid to launch your form (instead of quick create):

Thank you for the excellent reply, but strangely I did that already, but it still displays that add form that is not enabled but when I try to edit the product the correct form comes up. We will try to replace all the code from prod as it's working there to dev, but I think something else is causing the issue.

Hi,

Thank you for your query.

First, verify if you have add the new form in the App.

Here are steps:

Go to Advanced Settings -> Apps.

Open the App you use in your designer (for example Sales Hub).

Find the Quote Item entity, and then click on Forms.

Make sure, your custom form is selected in the Components (right hand side).

Validate and Publish the App.

Second, please verify if the Quick Create is enable on the Quote Line entity:

Go to Advanced Settings -> Customization -> Customize this System.

Expand Entities -> Quote Line.

Look for Allow quick create is checked or not (under Data Services).

If it is enabled, when you click on Add product button, it will open quick create form (instead of main form). You can also create your own quick create form, if you do not need Quick Create, you can disable it for Quote Entity.

Third, verify the form order.

If you have created the Quick Create form, set the Form order for Quick Create.

If you have created a Main form, set the order of the Main form set, move your form to the top.

This will make sure, your form is displayed.

Here are steps to set the form order:

Go to Advanced Settings -> Customization -> Customize this System.

Expand Entities -> Quote Line -> Forms.

Click on the Form Order and set the order (for Main or Quick Create).

Make sure, your form is on top of the list.

Finally, Save and Publish the Entity.
