I have implemented and activated a "new" Business Process. Is there a way to do a "Switch Process" in bulk to selected records?

You can do that using custom code.

Check the below post for a sample

Mamatha is right, using this link as your starting point.

Then, create a ribbon or workflow to trigger Javascript or Server Code behind (custom workflow activity and a workflow that can trigger plugin). You can do bulk using the ribbon as well (select all record within one page if using CRM - can be using advance find as well), otherwise you create your own page to get all of the selected record not limited in one page).

    Hi William,

If you want to switch  a process for multiple records at a same time then, it is not possible through UI. To switch a process for one record,

            1. Click that record to open its detail form.

            2. Click the Ellipsis and then select Switch Process from the dropdown.

I believe it's ridiculous that one has to use code for this? Surely there should be a simpler way to assign the process as default to all records, even those that have already been created. What about exporting and reimporting them?

    Hi

I know this is an old feed but you are now able to bulk update the Switch Process using a workflow and the Actions step. so no "Custom Code" needed.
