hello,
i have a question concerning a produced item which is used in the assembly list of an item to assemble
the problem is the assembled item is assembled but the unit cost is not yet correct, because the production order was not finalized (so no real cost for the produced item).
will finalizing the production order update the unit cost of the assembled item?

Yes Pieter,
When you finish the production order, the actual cost of production will get finalised and it will add up to the ledger entry. now if you have already consumed that output against the assembly order then the assembly consumption value will also get affected since system will post the adjusted value entry and so for your assembly output.
If you have set automatic cost posting in inventory setup then this will happen real time and if it is not then this entries will get generated when you run the Adjust - Item cost entries batch in the system.
