Licensing of Dynamic crm 2015

Hello all,

I have doubt regarding the license consumption. Our company is a microsoft partner and has 60 Dynamics CRM licenses.

My question is i have two organizations in the deployment manager and 4 developer users + 1 system admin license consumed (total 5), so what could be the count of license consumed ?

Is it total 5 licenses (for two organizations since same users are there) or 10 licenses (for two organizations since it says per user/per license in the Microsoft website .) Which is correct.

    It depends on the version of CRM but I believe for CRM 2013/2015 allows licences to operate across multiple organisations.

    So 5 licences total are consumed for your users accessing both organisations.

    Thank you kevin for your comment. Can you please share any official document/link where it confirms the consumption of licenses for on-premise 2015, it will be greatly helpful

    Check the current license as workgroup or enterprise?

    The workgroup edition of CRM will only support one active organization at a time.

    The Enterprise edition of CRM to support multiple active organizations in CRM.
