Hi Community,
Is it possible to configure Bing Maps or Google maps as transit time and mileage engines based on the Logitude and latitudes of an adress.
Version AX2012R3 & D365FO.

Hello Mehdi,
Maybe the following discussion helps you getting started: dynamicsuser.net/.../integrate-google-map-within-ax
Please also check out the following site: docs.microsoft.com/.../hh750210(v=msdn.10)
Best regards,
Ludwig
Hello Ludwig,
The first link show you how to build a direction using 2 adresses and show it in ax. What i'm looking for is to calculate distance and ETA in Transportation Management with Google Maps Bing Map or Other API instead of P2P Mileage Engine and a Transit Time Engine Calculation.
Mehdi
Hi Mehdi AMRANI,
Yes its possible.
You will have to make a custom engine to handle this. Transportation management engine has many extension points which allows you to configure any engine as per client need.
Bing maps can be used to identify mileage engine if you make a new engine for the same.
I have done this.
Hi Sagar,
I would be greatfull if you can give me a link to a tutorial i'm very interested to do it.
Best Regards,
Mehdi AMRANI
Hi Mehdi,
I think the following link supplies exactly what you're looking for for integrating Bing Maps:
https://cloudblogs.microsoft.com/dynamics365/no-audience/2014/07/11/transportation-management-tms-mileage-engine-based-on-bing-maps/?source=dynamicsaxscm
The link obviously is for AX 2012, I am not sure if and how this works on D365FO.
Regards
/Hans
