hi,

done a factbox with 6 columns. The problem: 2 of the columns are shown very small. What could be the reason?

    Hi Jonathan,

... but no data, and the BlankZero property set on these fields? Just a guess...

    with best regards

I tried to create a FactBox as yours, but most cases were ok (enough width), some cases made client stop working :-) Which version and build do you use? Is there any special customization? How the object design in text format look like?

I tried creating your case in my DB and I went ok.  If you can provide more info we can test it.  :)

    hi,

i've done many tests in that special db. it's a nav 2013 vs. 38052. i tested the same factbox in a cronus db, also with parent page sales order. no problems.

the factbox is very simple, no special custom code.

so next step was to disable all factboxes in the parent page but the special one. idea: maybe a side effect of an other factbox.

saved the changes, tested, all was suddenly ok. also changing the column width to at least 1cm, closed page, opened page again and the column width was correctly the same as before. enabled all other factboxes. again all ok.

    strange enough.

conclusion: not sure, but maybe the changes, saving the changes resulted at the end in correct behavior; could also be a problem with the metadata.

    hi,

it turned out that the main reason was the fact, that on the page we use the factbox 2 times with different data. when changing the layout in the first factbox (above) and close the page, it seems that the layout of the second factbox (lower, in the first run not changed) is saved at last. so next time open the page, both factboxes have again the same old crappy layout, because the last saved layout is loaded.

so i changed the layout of both instances and ... the layout loaded correctly on the next open page. strange enough ...
