Migrate code in email from Outbound marketing to Real-time

Hi,

I'm trying to migrate emails for a client from outbound to real-time marketing.
But when I copy paste the code i get this errors:

"Text part: Dynamic content contains a syntax error (such as a missing curly bracket) in or near the following code: ..."
"Email body: Dynamic content contains a syntax error (such as a missing curly bracket) in or near the following code: ..."

I've read the known issues and How to enter advanced dynamic content.. removed <p> and &nps; made sure the expressions are right and the code looks clean. And it works fine in outbound.

Does anyone have a clue on what to try next?

Best,
Ida

    Hi Ida,

It sounds like there may be an issue with the dynamic content from Outbound emails not being supported in Real-Time emails. I would suggest trimming out the footer (which contains content that may be causing the conflict) from the HTML before copying over and see if that works. You can add the footer back in manually by saving it as a content-block and dragging it into the email.

Let me know how you go.

    Kind regards,
    Josh

    Hi,

Would you show the code used in real-time marketing email?

I asked Microsoft and apperently there is no support for the custome code my client needs in RTM.

I will submit a suggestion and hope it will be implemented sooner rather then later. Thanks for your time!

I want to clearify I rebuilt the template in RTM and copied only a small part that was some custom code for a booking confirmation.

RTM apparently has another syntax and basically you can't write this your self in RTM as you could in Outbound.

    /Ida
