Inventory related module missing after imported third party HRM add-on

Hi guys,

We have Dynamics ax 2012 r3 cu10 system installed on test environment. we have a third-party vendor solution (HRM) model files installed. After the model import, we couldn't see inventory management, trade, warehouse  modules, Totally logistics related module disappeared. After the import I have compiled and synchronized without any issues. Following things I have tried,

  • Checked on navigation pane
  • checked on Tools->Modules  view options
  • re imported the license and synchronized
  • I could able to open the forms in development environment.

Please suggest what could be the problem.

    Typically ISV modules override Main Menu. Would you check if that has made the module Hide?

    Hi Mohamed,

    Sohaib might be correct. You can check in the AOT if the MainMenu has versions in several development layers and which layer is causing the menus to be disabled.

    You can also contact that third party vendor and ask for a solution.

    sohaib - InventoryManagement menu. right now I am checking on privileges, guide me where I need to start checking about it.

    you should check the Main Menu, because that is the location from where all menus appear in user interface. proceed to below path

    \Menus\MainMenu

    Right click and click on Compare. you will see difference of various layers.

    Yeah I checked there first changes made, But I can see the inventorymangement module, WHS exists in main menu.

    interesting.

    so issue is for all users including SysAdmin or its just for normal users, i.e. the issue.
