ILE Replicate to store server

Hi,

We are maintaining purchases and inventory in HO Server.

I need to replicate the ILE from HO to stores.

NAV is not generating any 'actions' as of now for ILE insert, and there is NO replication counter field in the ILE.

I thing there is a setup where I can chose to create action on ILE insert.

Is there any way?

Abdul.

Do you mean to say you want to transfer inventory from ho to store ?

    Is  it LS retail ?

I've setup replicate for ILE.  You need to setup the subjob replication type as normal instead of by Action.   Filter it to only replicate Open entries and filter by distribution location = Location code.

    Abdul Rahman T H ,

totally Agreed with  Ahmed Amini, you can make your solution through this

It sounds interesting - what will happen to ILE's in the store when the entries are closed at HO? Or have I missed some of the intention behind this?

You will have to create a new subjob (normal job) with replication counter on entry no. and may by as Ahmed Amini mentions filter on distribution location to prevent you from having all ILE's for all locations in all stores (huge amount of data) - but be aware of conflicting entry numbers if you have local posting in the stores.

    Thanks Amol, Amini, Maneesha, Preben.

So, I have 2 options here. either by 'Open' field or by 'Entry No.' filed as suggested by MR.Preben.

I think, Preben's suggestion would be more matching for me as we have huge amount of items, those still remains as 'open'.

Let me try creating a subjob by setting entry number as replication counter.

And, Any body know how to replicate using the 'Last Date Modified' field? how to put it as filter in subjob , say 3 days before ?

    Thanks again,

    Abdul.

You don't need to set replication counter.  Set the replication to to update-add-delete.

This way the new set of item ledger will replicate to the store and replace them.  Assuming they don't do statement posting at the store.

Thank you all for the suggestions :)

I have gone as suggested by MR.Preben... Now ILE is replicating based on entry number as the replication counter, there by the data transfer rate is less.

    Thanks again.. its done.
