New Rich Text Control - Clickable Hyperlinks

Hi all,

I may be missing something really obvious but I've been trying out the new rich text controls for multiline text fields included in Release Wave 2 and I can't find a way to actually open links contained in the text. If I type https://www.example.com the field picks it up as a link (underline and blue font) and if I double click I can set options like target (_blank, _new etc), destination, but how would our users actually open the links from within the field?

Any advice would be really appreciated.

Thanks so much
Sam

I am having the same issue. I was lucky enough that my organization does not need to edit this type of field in this case, if you make the field read-only on the form links work as expected.

    Hope this helps someone.

    Hello Sam,

I've checked your question and this is currently the expected behavior when working with rich text control.

It is suggested that customers use Ctrl + right-click to open the browser's contextual menu and use those options to open the link.
