D365 9.1 On Premise - Create and Update Business Unit via WebAPI

Hi Folks

First of all thanks for checking up on my post. I wonder if anyone knows the capability of utilising WebAPI to create/update Business Unit in D365 CE 9.1 on premise. So we would like to automate the business unit crud process and wonder if there is anything that we need to be concerned on. We would get downstream file from other system which we will process based on the structure on the file, so in term of the necessary data it will all be available.

However, is it like using the webAPI as is how we do in other entity? Many thanks in advance. Look forward to hear from any one of you.

Cheers

Regards,

Jonas

    Hi Leah

Thanks for the response. Turns out that we may need to run the business unit creation process through CRM SDK. Is it possible to use organisation service to do so? like is there any special procedure that we need to run on the code or just like any other creation process by utilising . create method of organizationservice?

    Thanks, though. Appreciate your help.

    Regards,

    Jonas
