Reset Management reporter data mart not fully integrating

Dear All,

Please I need help to complete the reset of management reporter data mart to ensure the periodic full integration is working in AX/MR  test environment. The regular integration is working but full integration hasn't worked in the last four years so we are not able to use the MR test environment. I was advised and given this link  https://stoneridgesoftware.com/management-reporter-2012-reset-data-mart-for-dynamics-ax/ to do data mart reset.

Everything seems ok until when executing step 6 of the guide- Enable Integration

I have done the configuration twice and deployment seems okay on each occasion but integration is giving error- some of the error messages are :

- [AX 2012 Companies to Company] has encountered an error. Processing will be aborted. Error text: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

- [AX 2012 General Ledger Transactions to Fact] has encountered an error. Error text: A record level exception has occurred for record (N/A). Error text : Name property cannot be null or empty.

   Parameter name: value

When these error occur, the  progress of the integration which previously display as almost complete will go back to 'Please wait while the Configuration Console finalises the integration' and the system seems stuck with this message.

The data mart integration log does not give detail information about the error for further investigation. I have checked and couldn't find information on where on the system data mart integration error  logs are stored.

I've been checking online information for over a  week to resolve this issue, but it seems I am not progressing.

We use AX 2012 RTM and Management reporter  Version 2.1.1037.15 i.e R5

Any specific  tips on how to resolve this issue will be appreciated.

    Version 6.0.947.280 is Cumulative update 2

    cloudblogs.microsoft.com/.../

    This is already a very old version and out of support.

    Also, your MR version seems to be the latest one that goes along with your AX version.

    That's a bit tricky.

    Do you have a developer around who could help you with this issue and investigate into the error message?

    MS will probably not help you anymore because your AX & MR versions are outdated but you can try getting in touch with the support team in case you don't have a developer around.

    Thank you for your response.

    Please can you point me to  a link or document that can be used for the MR upgrade process.

    Also, I will need to identify which version of MR is compatible with AX 2012 Application version 6.0.947.280

    You are using a very old MR version.

    Is it possible that you upgrade at least the MR?

    That might possibly fix the issue already.
