Advanced Find in MS D365 CRM crashes when selecting 'Look For'

Hi

When using D365 CRM's Advanced Find, and when selecting an entity ('look for') a blank drop-down box appears briefly, followed by the page crashing showing a 'can't open this page' and 'status breakpoint' error.
This only started happening very recently in the last couple of days.
I have tried both the new look and the 'old' look, I've toggled using modern advanced find on and off, tried multiple browsers, multiple users and the results are the same: crash upon clicking 'look for'.
I have googled the issue, but have not (yet?) been able to find the exact issue.
I have already cleared cache, reset browsers, logged out and in, rebooted the pc; and so far nothings has resolved it.

Does anyone recognise this issue and know how to resolve it?

Edit: it seems both Edge and Chrome recently have had updates and are using the same or similar engine. Could this be the issue.
It still works fine on Firefox.

Many thanks,
Pete.

    Hi,

    I didn't encounter your problem.
It’s recommended that you raise a support ticket for further assistance.

I am having the exact same issue. I have a ticket in with MS.  It seems to be an Edge and Chrome issue.  I downloaded Firefox and the Advanced Find worked perfectly.

    Waiting on MS now.........

We are having the same issue and have tried the same things. We are opening up a support case.

We are also having this issue since about 2 weeks ago. Clearing cache, restarting browser and computer didn't help. Also tried In-cognito/Private mode, still the same. So we had to install Firefox as a workaround suggested by MH-21061655-0 .
    Here's what we get:

    Just a little update.

We have raised a support ticket with MS.

I have to correct myself though - Adv Fnd does seem to work for us when Modern AF is turned on.  I didn't realise this initially, because it seems to take a looong time for Modern AF to appear in CRM. Whereas, when you turn it off it disappears instantly.   Personally I don't like the modern look, but as long as it works for us, we've got something.

    Pete.

Update, for completeness.  A ticket was raised with Microsoft who acknowledged a wider issue, which has since been resolved. No action was required at our end. Everything's working fine again now.
