Hi

We need to do a load of the items groups using Ad Inn. The following tables were selected to make the load

InventItemGroup
InventItemGroupForm

Ledger Accounts and ledger types are included in the file upload, but the loading process no insert the ledger accounts.

Any suggestions of how to do it ??  we need to use more tables?

Thanks for help

InventItemGroupForm is not required to upload Item groups.  Focus on just InventItemGroup.

    Hi Brandon

When we load item groups using Ad-Inn tool, the process does not insert the data.
In the follow image shown the data already exist (green color) and a new value (yellow color) to be inserted into the table InventPosting

When the data is published, the new record is removed from the Excel and is not inserted into the table
We are omitting any previous procedure or column ?

    Thanks for help.

    Hi Ernesto,

I assume you are using the Excel add-in which is standard shipped with AX. Have you entered the values manually or copied, pasted a line and adjusted the values? Try at least creating a new row manually to see if this works.

You may also consider using Data Import Export Framework for the upload.

    Hi Ernesto,

I don't know if it is standard without checking AX 2012. Probably you have access to an environment earlier. I just shut down my environment for today. So check if it is available. If not, you can use the wizard to create the base objects. Then you need to add some coding to handle the conversion for the ledger account from a string to the ledger dimension storagw record ID. There are examples in some entities how to do this.

In Excel Ad-Inn, we entered the values by copy-paste and manually. In both cases the problem is the same; the new record is removed from the Excel and is not inserted into the table.

Hi Ernesto - if you've getting odd behavior from the excel add-in try importing on into the table using the DIXF.

Here's my blog on this, but André gets the credit for the method:

    Hi

We use DIEF for data loads when the entity exists in DIEF,,,  in this case, there is no entity in DIEF to load the item groups with ledger account a accounts types

    Thanks
