Hiding the Customer Engagement App for certain roles

Hi,

I'm the CRM administrator for my company. We have a few published apps that can be seen by users, based on their role(s). I can click on the 3 dots in the app icon and click on Manage Roles. Here's how it looks like for the "Sales Hub" app:

I could do it for all my apps except 1. This one is named "BSSI Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement". I get the following when I click on the 3 dots:

It looks like I can either hide or show the app for all roles. I was wondering if I could make this app appear for some roles and not for others? (e.g. same as Sales Hub).

Its a legacy app so you will need to convert it to a unified interface app. Please see how below.

    Hi Adam,

Thanks for the info. I realized that we had created a unified interface of this app a while back and the users should be using the new version already. When I checked the unified interface version, it had the Manage Roles option available. Therefore the solution you suggested most likely will work.

I won't convert the legacy app again, I'll just hide it from all the users.

    Jason
