Hi All,
I am trying to delete the cost center dimension which is by mistake created in the system. No dimension values are created in this CC dimension and no transactions have been posted too. But still it is not allowing me to delete it.
My client doe not want to maintain any CC dimension.
FYI; the CC dimension is created by selecting "Cost centers" in Use values from field in the Financial dimensions form.

Just because you have created the cost center dimension based on the standard Cost centers as available in the "Use values from" list; therefore, system is not allowing you to delete this dimension. If you had created this by using Custom dimension; then you will be able to delete it.
Kindly check with technical person and show the link. Hope it will be removed from system.
Better deploy PROD db in DEV environment and then check this.
