ssrs show data in the footer

HI there ,

The green part is what i have in the report body and i want to remove the taxValue field and TaxAmount field in the dataset and display this field in the footer like the blue part .

Is it possible to show data from database in SSRS footer?I tried but the only option i know is to show first record from dataset. But I want to show all records (I just need to show two column) one by one on each page.

IS there any way (ssrs expression) to loop through the rows of a dataset and create field in footer part ?

Martin, for the first time i shared a screen that contain what i'm looking for. so when i can't show the result in the footer section(can't create tablix in footer)   i was  create it in the body section for using sum() function and grouping. So actualy in body section i have tablix that i want repeat it in all page.

You can easily repeat things by putting them to a footer, but it's intended for static data. I can't imagine how your matrix would be populated. I think it's not a feasible design.

A workaround might be using a tablix with a header repeated on every page and putting your matrix to the header.

Your screenshot doesn't really explain your specific requirements. The green section shows individual transactions, while the grey section shows totals, therefore I suggested to sum the values. Please either confirm it (then you can use SUM() function), or explain what else you want to do with those values.

RE: how to use loop in ssrs expression

Martin Thanks for the quick reply, may you suggest to me an exemple of expression to display TaxValue and TaxAmount fields in Footer like i explain in the screenshot

I create new text box in the footer and  treid this expression :

    =Lookup(Fields!BillingCode.Value,Fields!BillingCode.Value,Fields!TaxValue.Value, "FreeTextInvoiceDS")
but i have this error Lookup is invalid. InvalidIdentifier

Loop is a statement, not an expression. What do you want to do inside the loop? Maybe you can write an expression that provides the same result (e.g. a sum of values).
