I think it is stored outside dataverse and retrieved on the fly via:
The msdyn_ForecastApi custom action enables you to perform various actions to retrieve and update forecasting data.
It would be uber cool to store it in the Azure Data Lake associated with the Dataverse environment, so it is ready for advanced mashup and analytics secenarios.
