How to customize My Received Email screen

Is there any way to easily change the MY Received Email Screen that I have setup in my Dashboard so you can scroll through the Emails and not go page by page. Maybe add a slider bar to the right side ?

powerapps will only show emails that are related to an entity? like the Case entity.

    Is that correct?

How do I see emails that were sent to a mailbox for a team?

    Hello,

Thank you for your question.  I may have misunderstood your ask, but if you are looking to see more than 9 records, you can change the number of records to display per page.

You can do this through you Personal Options by updating the Records Per Page field. 250 is the max number we allowed to be returned per page but you can update this to 50 or 100 to see more records without having to change pages.

If I have misunderstood, how are you getting to that view that you have in your screenshot?

Thanks and look forward to your update!

    You are welcome.

As of now, you cannot increase the number of rows per page in a list component added to a Dashboard (because in Dashboards you only list key information).

Alternatively, you can go to Activities -> Choose "My Received Emails" view. This will by default list 50 emails, you can increase this limit up to 250 using the following steps:

    • Go to Personalization  Settings -> Records per page.

For your question on Emails and Outlook, I am not sure if you are using the Dynamics 365 App for Outlook.

If not, I highly recommend this app (it's free), you will get better integration between Dynamics 365 and Outlook and your salesperson/account managers will save a lot of time with it.

Thank you for your reply, everything work and you made it very easy.

One thing I did want to address is it shows I have lots of e-mails and to view them you must look at

only one page at a time then change the page. It would be much easier if you could scroll through the e-mails.

So this is not like the in-box on Outlook. My work would like to use this like they would outlook with the in-box, send box and other folder that are custom made in outlook to file e-mails under.  Our users

now have outlook open on one screen and then only go to D365 if they want to look up a customers e-mail address then send the e-mail directly from D365.

It  would be nice to be able to do everything from D365. So does everyone else just use both at the same time ?

Thanks again for your great help, I'm new to this and having someone that can assist me is greatly appreciated

    Hi,

    Thank you for the query.

You cannot add a bar to show the email body, however, you can include the body column in this view.

Here are the steps to follow:

    • Go to Advanced Settings -> Customization -> Customize the System.
    • Expand Entities -> Email -> Views.
    • Open the My Received Emails View.

    pastedimage1614366203104v1.png

    • Add the Description column in the view, click on Save. (you can increase the width of the Description field by double-clicking on it or change its position by dragging along other fields).

    • Click on Email entity and then click on Publish.
    • Refresh the Dashboard, now you should see the body of the email in the view.
