Nav 2016 Customer Statement Report 10072 Doesn't Have Output Option to PDF

In Nav 2016, the Customer Statement Report 10072 doesn't provide the option to save as PDF. in the Output Method field, it default to "0", whatever it means. In the other format, Report 116, it provides this option. This is an unfortunate omission as Report #10072 is a good simplified format that our customers preferred as an e-statement. How do I enable this feature on Report 10072 like in 116?

You can always print to PDF using side software, e.g. Bullzip

    Hi,

You can use the Default Print PDF option using Print Drop Down Button in Report 10072.

I tested it and it seems to print PDF.

Are you using an automatic Job Queue Process to send statement automatically to customers?

    Hey Louis,

I don't think there any Report Since 2013 where you cant have the privilege to Print any Report to the below mentioned Formats. These are inbuilt engines given by Microsoft in NAV.

    Thanks

Thanks, Saurav. If I invoke the Print function, I will still have an option to print to the PDF virtual printer. The problem is, it will print all the customer statements into one big PDF file which is useless. Report #116 saves each customer's statement into a single PDF file nicely. What I am saying is Report #10072 doesn't provide that Output Method like I said. Is there a setting in the report I can modify?

Thanks. Yes, there's this option everywhere. The problem is if I chose this option, all customers' statements become one big PDF file instead of individually separated and saved, which in this case is useless.

    Hi Louis,

Could you please explain how you run Report 116 so it provide you output as a single PDF file for each customer.

I tried to run the report and Selected the ReportOutput type as PDF. When i say preview / Print to PDF it does not generate seprate PDF for each customer.

Let me know how you run the Report 116, if it happens in that Report, i am pretty sure that is possible in Report 10072.

Hi Kavisha, I haven't automated the process if that's what you meant. What we do is to run the statements manually, and choose to output into .pdf files, then in Outlook, we automate the statements attachment process. How do you manage your process? Sounds like you have a better way.
