Hi Experts,
I try to upgrade from 2009 R2 to 2013 and now I am at this point, can someone explain to me the meaning of the red sentence and where can i found the comparaison tool.
For each version, split the converted .txt files into single objects and review them using a file comparison tool. Delete the objects that are identical and not customized.
You can now start comparing the converted objects.

Hi Tharanga,
i found this splitter tools is it good for this job : mibuso.com/.../nav-object-splitter-v3.0.0.0
and please should i compare all object for oldBaseVersion and OldCustomVersion and NewBaseVersion ???

Hi mohana ,
Thank you very much i think the mergetool just for merging :)
That's very helpful thank you again Mohana and Tharanga :)
that tool is good.
If you have added any version list for modified objects then you can check only those objects.
otherwise you need to compare all objects.
If you use mergetool as suggested in another post then it will do most of the work and show you objects only which have conflicts.

It means you need to split the file which you exported from Microsoft Dynamics NAV Development Environment. Once you split you will have text files for each object.
