Are there known problems using Dynamics in the Edge browser?

I'm still a beginner with Dynamics CRM.  So far I've run into two problems using Dynamics in Microsoft Edge under Windows 10.  Neither one could be resolved short of rebooting my workstation.

1)  Reports would be blank - including reports that had worked just fine previously.  These were Report Wizard reports.

I could see the number of pages and the number of items found and so on, and I could move from page to page.  But the actual data area in the middle of the page was blank.

This persisted until I rebooted the workstation.

2)  Imports from Excel intended to update some records would go through the mapping and other preliminary stages just fine.  When I started the import process, the Import screen showed the usual Parsing and other stages.

But no records were imported, there was no list of successful and failed import records, and the number of records that succeeded, failed, and failed partially were all listed as 0.

The next day I rebooted my workstation, and the very same import file worked fine.  Records were properly updated, and the import success and failure stats were shown correctly.

Has anyone else seen things like this?

Any ideas?  Or should I just reboot my workstation when strange problems show up?

which Dynamics version you have? because if it's online there should not be problems with Edge, if it's onpremise depending the version Edge may or may not be compatible with some functionalities or don't work properly

    Hi Jessica,

Why don't you try some other browser like google or edge? It will help you in determining whether it is a browser-related issue or not. As per my understanding, you are using on promises.

    Thanks

I believe we are on premise.

Edge is what's giving me these (intermittent, no discernible pattern) errors, so I will try Chrome next.  However, I suspect that our local version of Chrome is somewhat behind the latest.

    Hi Jessica Weissman,

This does not seem browser-related issue it is related to machine specific.

    Thanks
