I can understand some user's are making various inquiries on how to "improve" the user interface, however generally it is better to force users to use what standard functionality offers. E.g., use "|" and insist that this is how the system works. Show them manual:
msdn.microsoft.com/.../hh879066(v=nav.90).aspx
It would save unneeded work now and much more later during upgrades. Tell users also that if they would be bounded to very customized user interface, it will reduce their value on the market in comparison to the users who know the standard UI.
Thank you Experts,
Actually i dont need that filter in Report processing i need that in a page. for better understand i have shown from report.
Now i have written a code in page onlookup and finally got the solution.
Once again thanks for your help.
Thank You
Mahesh
Using '|' is standard way to filter the records and are you planing to change that in report processing ?
As Jonathan said you can achieve this by small modification, but before doing that can you update us on what you planning to achieve doing this?
Do you want to use , instead of | and then use that as filter on the field ? if you could let us know what are you planning to achieve we may provide you better solution.
With filterstr:=getfilter (field) you get the Filter value. Replace then the , with | using convertstr. Then use setfilter to Set the correct filter.
