Hello everyone!

I want to change manually exchange rate on sales invoice or on journal lines. My LCY i GBP, but my transaction is in PLN. I have setup the currency exchange rates in the way that in column "Exchange Rate Amount" I have value that informs how much PLN is 1GBP:

So when I want to change manually exchange rate from 5.4405 to 5.50, I can't do this, because I have only Relational Exch. Rate Amount available to edit.

Do you know how can I change manually exchange rate on document, when i have setup for currencies like I described?

I have the same question (0)

Hi, I think you can add a new row of exchange rates for a new date, and then recreate a new order.

If you want to change the exchange rate, You can refer to the settings of the demo database.

Set Exchange Rate Amount to 100 or 1, and then add your exchange rate the Relational Exch. Rate Amount field. That's easier to understand.

    Hope this will help.

    Thanks.

    Antonio,

I would enter a new Exchange Rate, with the correct Starting Date, for the 5.50 rate.  The Change Exchange Rate pop-up only allows relational update, which is not what you want.

    Thanks,

    Steve
